Indigenous students

Melbourne Grammar School is proud to offer places dedicated for Indigenous secondary school students. These students are required to board at Melbourne Grammar School.

Our Indigenous Programme provides up to 12 Indigenous Bursaries, which cover a significant part of the cost of tuition and boarding during the student’s time at the School. Our Indigenous students receive specialist academic, cultural and pastoral support throughout their time at School as part of the programme.

Indigenous Bursaries are available for boys in Years 7 to 12. While the main intakes are at Years 7 and 9, there may be opportunities at other year levels if places become available.

Families of Indigenous students are encouraged to contact the Admissions Office to discuss the Indigenous Bursaries programme and the possibility of securing a place at Melbourne Grammar School.
