Parents are an essential part of the Melbourne Grammar community. Friends of Grammar brings together parents from across the School to encourage friendship and involvement in School life. They contribute valuable expertise and energy toward our goals for student learning, while strengthening our community as a whole.
Social activities and support
Through Friends of Grammar, parents can take part in wide range of activities including campus functions, family picnics, year group cocktail parties, lunches, sports days and concerts. Our new families and boarders also rely on Friends of Grammar members to help them feel welcome, informed and engaged with the life of the School.
A vital part of School life
As part of Friends of Grammar, parents communicate how much they value their child’s education and model the values of service and contribution that are important across our entire community. Friends of Grammar members can also choose to be involved in fundraising, which supports improvements across our facilities and resources.
