Across a history spanning more than 160 years, almost 18,000 men and women who make up the Melbourne Grammar alumni community have collectively made a positive impact on the world around them, in many different ways.
Living in countries, cities, towns and communities spread all over the world, Old Melburnians represent many different walks of life. Some are the first in their families to attend Melbourne Grammar, others come from multi-generational Melbourne Grammar families.
Whatever their background or experience may be, Old Melburnians share a common bond and a true sense of belonging, that lives on, beyond the School gates.
Who is an Old Melburnian?
You are an Old Melburnian if you have completed at least six months of schooling at any one of our campuses – Grimwade House, Wadhurst or Senior School.
Your Peer Year is the year that you completed your final year of schooling (currently Year 12), whether you completed at Melbourne Grammar or elsewhere. This is the year that is used to allocate you to a Class for the purpose of Reunions and year level gatherings.
Some Old Melburnians may feel connected to more than one Peer Year group. You are welcome to attend Class Reunions of whichever Peer Year group or groups that are relevant to you.
