Class reunions

For most of us, our school days hold a special place in our hearts as some of the most memorable and influential times of our lives.

Class reunions are wonderful moments to reconnect with old classmates and reminisce about your time together, share stories about life journeys, and get a look at how much Melbourne Grammar has changed since you were last here.

You'll receive your first reunion invitation to return to the School one year after graduating from Year 12, followed by another reunion at the five-year mark, the ten year mark, and then every ten years thereafter.

You are welcome to have an active role in helping plan your Class reunion. If you, or a group of Old Melburnians from your year level are interested in organising or being involved in your reunion, please contact [email protected] or phone +61 9865 7682.

The Annual Bluestone Lunch

The Annual Bluestone Lunch is a special reunion for those Old Melburnians who graduated from School 50 or more years ago and their partners. Jointly hosted by the President of the Old Melburnians and the Headmaster of Melbourne Grammar, it is an event we look forward to each November.

The lunch is a chance to share memories of your time at Melbourne Grammar School and to congratulate the Old Melburnians who were recognised for their outstanding achievement through the Order of Australia awards in that year. Each year, we welcome a new cohort of Old Melburnians into the Bluestone, making the occasion even more meaningful.

Boarders’ reunions

Boarding at Melbourne Grammar is an experience that leads to a lifetime of memories and friendships. From time to time, boarders get together and catch up, sometimes after many years. While there isn’t currently a regular scheduled boarders’ reunion, we will let you know when they do happen. Make sure to keep your contact details up-to-date so that you receive your invitation.

Other reunions

Much like reunions for our boarders, from time to time there are other reunions that take place, typically around a shared experience, group, sport or activity. For example, Old Melburnians who played soccer at School were recently invited to join the event to celebrate 50 years of soccer at Melbourne Grammar. Invitations to these reunions are sent by email, and we encourage you to help us by circulating the details to your friends.
