General Excellence Scholarships support students of exemplary work ethic and good character who would not otherwise be able to attend Melbourne Grammar School without the benefit of a scholarship.
These scholarships are for students who demonstrate:
- the ability to make a positive and significant contribution to the life of the School
- exceptional sporting ability or promise in one or more APS sports
- an exemplary work ethic
- academic potential
- they would not otherwise be able to attend the School without the financial support of a scholarship
These scholarships are available for new day students and new boarders, with the remission amount varying to cover partial tuition and/or boarding fees based on family need, the applicant, and the availability of scholarships each year.
