Staying connected

Page Content

Many Old Melburnians stay in touch with the School and its community throughout their lives. Choosing to be part of The Old Melburnians community connects you with the many opportunities that exist for Old Melburnians and a network of people across various fields and professions who hold shared values and aspirations.

Benefits of staying connected

Shortly after you graduate from Melbourne Grammar School, you will immediately have access to OMLink – our private online platform for all Old Melburnians. This is a space where you can connect with other OMs, access career advice and opportunities, stay up-to-date with events and find out about ways to continue to be involved with the School. We also welcome you to take part in our sport and drama clubs, reunions, and branch activities that take place around the world.

As you begin to build your career we offer further networking opportunities through our annual Old Melburnians dinner, reunions, and our Mentoring Programme, which gives you access to mentorship and advice from other members. Old Melburnians under the age of 30 are encouraged to apply for The Old Melburnians Dick Cotton Memorial Fellowship, to undertake a travel or study project for self-development.

As your career progresses we also welcome you to take up a mentorship role to guide younger graduates and current students. These may also be the years during which your own child is enrolled at Melbourne Grammar School.

Access to OMLink, sport and drama clubs, Annual Dinner and branch activities all continue for Old Melburnians who have retired. We also offer 50 and 60 year reunions along with our Bluestone Luncheon, an annual event for all Old Melburnians who have left the School more than 50 years ago.
