Annual Giving 2024

At Melbourne Grammar School, we are committed to providing a holistic education for all our students. Our pursuit of academic excellence is coupled with our commitment to community and social responsibility.

Shakhram (Shak) Rakhmatullaev (OM 2023), who you can read about below, embodies the qualities we seek to nurture in our students.

Shak joined our Senior School after receiving the Parncutt Family Scholarship, established to support students with academic prowess and a strong desire to contribute to the School community.

Throughout his time at Melbourne Grammar School, Shak developed his leadership skills through his commitments to outdoor education, debating and student committees. His teachers soon recognised his sense of compassion and his dedication to the welfare of fellow students.

Shak was rewarded for his efforts with significant leadership positions within the School. He has used that experience to guide his current commitments to tutoring and debating coaching. The confidence and sense of social responsibility he possesses are, I believe, hallmarks of a Melbourne Grammar School education.

We want to be able to give more students like Shak access to the exceptional educational experiences offered by our School. The lessons they learn here will benefit them, their families, and society for many years to come.

Your gift can fund scholarships that allow outstanding students to reach their full potential, regardless of their financial situation. You can also support the School through giving to First Nations Scholarships, Buildings, the Exceptional Staff initiative, our Sculpture Walk, and the Melbourne Grammar Future Fund.
