The proposed Centre for Humanities will be a landmark building for Melbourne Grammar School, providing new spaces in which students and teachers will be able to gather, exchange ideas, and be inspired to see the world in new ways.
This will be a building that deepens the tradition of discourse and dialogue between students and teachers that is part of the fabric of our School.
With views across the Royal Botanic Gardens to the city and beyond, it will connect us to the wider world.
And with the internal views to the Chapel of St Peter and the Geoff Handbury Science and Technology Hub, messaging about the importance of the connection between humanity, science and spirituality will be enhanced.
Through this project, we will continue to embrace what is at the core of education: human relationships. The proposed Centre for Humanities will add to the engaging learning spaces that make up Melbourne Grammar, inspiring generations of students and staff.
