At Melbourne Grammar School, we believe education can create extraordinary possibilities in the lives of young people and, through them, in the communities in which they live.

We seek to develop independent young people with the confidence to create their own future and the compassion to make a positive contribution to Australian society and the wider world. Our role is to provide an exceptional education – one that nurtures the whole person and equips them for life.

Jack Anderson (OM 2023), whose story you can read through the link below, is a compelling example of what can happen when potential meets opportunity.

Growing up in a Defence Force family, Jack’s schooling was often disrupted by constant moves. A scholarship to Melbourne Grammar gave him the stability he needed to thrive. He embraced every opportunity, becoming a leader in his House, taking up rowing for the first time, and building friendships that will last a lifetime. Jack now studies Agriculture at the University of Melbourne and looks forward to giving back to the community that supported him.

Stories like Jack’s remind us that the impact of a Melbourne Grammar education goes far beyond the School gates.

With your support, we can continue to broaden access to this experience – offering more scholarships to outstanding students, including First Nations students; attracting and retaining exceptional staff; enhancing our facilities; enriching the cultural life of our campus; and investing in the School’s long-term future through the Melbourne Grammar Future Fund.
