We know that when our community of parents, friends and Old Melburnians rally together, we can make a powerful difference in the life of our students. Whilst you may choose to support any of School’s four pillars of philanthropy, the current focus for the School and the Melbourne Grammar School Foundation is to create opportunities for more Indigenous students – ultimately to raise the number of Indigenous bursaries in any given year to 15. The whole School is enriched by the Indigenous Programme’s spirit of respect and inclusion.
I am proud to say that together we raised $85,000 for the Indigenous Bursary Programme via the End of Financial Year Appeal – this means that almost two years of a future Indigenous student’s education are now supported. Thank you to all parents, friends and Old Melburnians who have already contributed this year. But, with a little more of your help, we can achieve our 2017 goal of $125,000 to support a future student’s tuition and board from Year 9 to Year 12. Please consider making a gift if you haven’t already done so.
