Students arriving at Grimwade House
At Grimwade House boys and girls begin an exciting and rewarding educational journey that nurtures each student’s individual talents.

Our leafy campus, set on 3 hectares of beautiful grounds in Caulfield, is home to 680 boys and girls from Prep to Year 6. Here we develop the natural curiosity of young minds in a warm, caring environment. Specialist teachers, high academic standards and a dynamic range of co-curricular activities help our students build confidence and a love of learning.

At Grimwade House, students make the most of the School’s outstanding facilities, including shaded play areas, a theatre and assembly hall, a swimming pool and gymnasium, sports oval, tennis courts, chapel, science laboratory, IT studio and specialised music school.

For almost forty years we have provided coeducational primary education, with all students enjoying the benefits that emerge when young boys and girls learn together. While we maintain an unyielding commitment to high academic standards, we are acutely aware that our children will enter a world of constant change. Our learning and personal development programmes help our students to cultivate essential skills for the contemporary world, including social skills, oral communication, problem-solving, teamwork and creativity.

Through their broad range of experience dedicated and motivated staff at Grimwade House provide the necessary emotional and educational support to produce confident young people who are well equipped for the next stage of their education and beyond.
