Read through the advertisement and job description, taking the time to understand the requirements and your eligibility.
Step 3 – Apply
Submit your resume and cover letter electronically, ensuring both are specific to the position you apply for.

Include the details of three referees to help speed the process up if you are successful in final stages.
Step 4 – Confirmation

Step 5 – Shortlist interviews
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview. The preferred candidates for teaching roles will be asked to alert their referees at this stage, and reference checks will be completed.
Step 6 – Final interviews
Final interview with the Head/s of Department/School or a Demonstration Lesson/Technical Test for teaching staff.
Preferred candidates who interview for roles in operational support areas will be asked to alert their referees at this stage, and reference checks will be completed.
Step 7 – Offer
After all pre-employment checks have been completed, the successful candidate will receive a verbal offer from Melbourne Grammar School. With their agreement, an offer of employment will be generated and sent.
