Over the years, hundreds of donors have made gifts to the Melbourne Grammar School Foundation Endowment. These flexible and unrestricted gifts play a vital role in sustaining the School's educational standard of excellence.
The Melbourne Grammar School Foundation Endowment Fund generates an annual flow of income to support the School’s priorities, while maintaining its value over time. Its dual purpose is to provide for current needs, while ensuring that future generations of students benefit.
To ensure that our students are equipped with the skills necessary to navigate their futures, the School invests significantly in new spaces and maintenance of its architectural heritage. Over the past 15 years, the School Council has allocated all available income from the Melbourne Grammar School Foundation Endowment Fund to create first-class teaching and learning environments. As fortunate as we are, this support only represents 8 per cent of the total cost to the School. If we are to continue our trajectory of continual improvement, we must continue to grow this endowment.
The majority of support for the Melbourne Grammar School Foundation Endowment Fund comes from gifts in Wills. We invite you to find out more about the Witherby Tower Society, which recognises members of the School community who remember the School in their Wills.
We welcome all gifts - no matter the size - to the Melbourne Grammar School Foundation Endowment Fund. Donations to Melbourne Grammar School Endowment Fund, and gifts in Wills do not attract a tax-deduction.
