Grimwade House is ‘100 years young’ in 2018.

It is an important milestone for Melbourne Grammar School and we invite members of the Grimwade House community to join the excitement of our 100th birthday. 

We have many wonderful events planned throughout the year and we invite you to join in the celebrations.

Grimwade House Centenary Chapel Service 

Wednesday 31 January 2018

A special Chapel Service for current students and invited guests to celebrate the Centenary of Grimwade House. The Service will be conducted by Grimwade House Chaplain Reverend Bill Peacock.


Grimwade House Centenary Day 

Wednesday 28 February 2018

Grimwade House opened on 28 February 1918. On this day, current Grimwade House students and staff and invited guests will come together to celebrate the 100th Birthday of Grimwade House.

Grimwade House Centenary Ball

Billed as ‘the social event of the century’, the Centenary Ball will mark the occasion of the 100th year of Grimwade House with the distinction and fanfare it deserves. It is an opportunity for parents to come together and celebrate. Guests can be assured of a fabulous evening that will honour Grimwade House’s past and exciting future. As tickets for this event are expected to be in high demand please make sure that you note the date in your diary and book early.


Centenary Celebration of Learning Day

Current Grimwade House families, former Grimwade House students and their families, and other members of the Grimwade House community are invited to visit Grimwade House, see the School at work and catch up with friends. A programme of events for the day will be revealed in the coming months.
