Melbourne Grammar’s Senior School campus is centrally located close to the CBD in South Yarra, opposite the Royal Botanic Gardens. The Senior School caters for some 800 boys from Year 9 to 12, including around 100 boarders.
When students enter Senior School they face a whole new set of social and academic challenges. When they depart we trust they will take with them the rewards of a rich and well-rounded education that has revealed their potential and fostered their talents.
Highly qualified and experienced teachers offer a challenging educational programme of curriculum and co-curricular activities. Excellence is one of our key values and our teachers foster within our students a keen desire to achieve academically, resulting in outstanding results at the VCE level.
Well supported by our multifaceted Pastoral Care programme, students work towards achieving their individual potential in their academic, sporting and artistic endeavours, making the most of the School’s first-class grounds and facilities.
Life at Senior School seeks to equip students to become self-reliant, capable young adults able to navigate the challenges of tertiary study and vocational choices. We trust that our students will be valued members of a global community and will also recognise their intrinsic value as individuals.
