A creative and technology-rich learning environment at Grimwade House allows teachers and students to work, interact and exchange information in imaginative ways.

Melbourne Grammar School believes that information, communication and learning technologies are a vital part of the students’ education and that these tools should be integrated into all aspects of the curriculum rather than being treated as a separate learning area. Technology is fully integrated within the curriculum, enabling an interactive, collaborative and media-rich classroom environment.

All students have access to a range of eLearning tools to foster a greater engagement with learning. There are digital devices in every classroom from Prep to Year 4, while each Year 5 and 6 student has a personal digital device.

The School holds an annual Information and Communication Technology Conference for Year 5 students, which aims to develop their skills, confidence and knowledge when using their personal digital devices as learning tools. Expert speakers are invited to conduct workshops on a range of topics to help the students understand their role as responsible and respectful digital citizens.
