Students at work
Children are living in a world of constant change. We provide them with the skills they will need to be successful in their future.

At Grimwade House students are provided with a holistic education that recognises the importance of every child’s academic, physical, social and emotional development, in a supportive and challenging environment. In every learning area from physical education to science, and creative arts to values education, the core curriculum is taught hand-in-hand with an expansive programme of co-curricular activities. This ensures that both within and outside the classroom, all children are able to build a solid foundation in key learning areas while developing the necessary self-esteem and confidence to reach their potential.

Key focuses include building strong literacy and numeracy skills, allowing opportunities for students to think and express themselves creatively, encouraging collaborative and team-based activities, developing critical thinking skills and providing opportunities for authentic problem solving. The use of ICT is embedded into daily activities and programmes.

The curriculum includes English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Languages (Mandarin Chinese), Music, Visual Arts, Religious and Values Education, Health and Physical Education. Our dedicated Learning Strategies teachers offer additional challenge and support for students.
