The role of the Chapel

The Chapel’s role is now a complex one. The services maintain the Anglican tradition but, at the same time, they must be relevant to the Chapel’s primary audience of 21st century boys aged 12 to 18 years.

The Chaplains balance these two responsibilities by inviting students to take an active part in the services. At Senior School, there is a Chapel Committee of 10 to 15 students that helps with this planning and offers ideas about how the Chapel can be made more accessible to a younger generation.
