Edwin H Flack Scholarship Recognises a prospective boarding student entering Year 9 who demonstrates strong intellectual aptitude, leadership traits and breadth of involvement beyond academic studies. The Marian and E.H. Flack Trust was set up in 1938 with the ongoing intention of the trustees being to grant the scholarship as a means of perpetuating the name of Edwin Flack at Melbourne Grammar School, by providing an opportunity for a boy from the country, whose parents would otherwise not be able to afford it, to receive the first-class education which the School provides.

Michelmore Family Scholarship Supports a student who is academically gifted in Mathematics and who, due to family financial circumstances, would otherwise not have the opportunity to attend Melbourne Grammar School. Applicants sit the scholarship examination. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong interest in Mathematics or Sciences. Preference may also be given to students who regularly participate in sports. |
