Since Edwin Flack (OM 1890) won two Gold Medals at the 1896 Athens Games—the first of the modern Olympics, the School has a rich history of contribution to and achievement at the Olympic Games.

We recognise that the road to Olympic glory is paved with hard work and dedication. The following 45 members of the Melbourne Grammar School community, comprising 43 Old Melburnian and two staff members, have competed at the Olympic Games with honour and distinction.
